How do I seal a capsule?
- Tap Seal and choose who it is for.
- Pick a date and write your guesses, a letter or a voice note.
- Review the summary and hold the wax seal until it stamps.
- Share the Seal card if you like.
How do I contact support?
Email us using the contact block at the end of this page. Include your iPhone model and iOS version. Do not send capsule contents; support cannot read them and does not need them.

Frequently asked questions
Why can I not open my capsule yet?
Sealday opens a capsule only when its date has arrived, and it needs the beacon key for that date. Check the date on the capsule and your internet connection.
The app says it cannot reach the time beacon. What now?
The key for that date is already public and the app only has to download it. Check your connection and tap Try again. Sealday also retries when you return to the app.
Can I change the date after sealing?
No. The date is part of the lock. Make a new capsule instead.
I deleted the app. Can I get my capsules back?
Only from an iCloud Backup, an iPhone backup or a vault file. Sealday has no servers to restore from.
How do I restore a vault file?
Open You > Backup and restore > Import vault file, and pick the file. Capsules are added and duplicates are skipped.
How do I restore my Plus purchase?
Open You > Restore Purchases, or use Restore on the paywall. It works with the same Apple ID.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Does Sealday work in other languages?
The app is available in English and Russian and follows your iPhone language.
How do I break the seal on my own capsule?
Open the capsule, choose Break the seal, type OPEN EARLY and start the 24-hour wait. It is marked "Opened early" for good.
Why does my sent capsule have no Open button?
Capsules you send cannot be opened by you. Only the recipient can open it on the date.
