SealdaySealday terms of use
Sealday is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, together with these terms. If they conflict, the Apple EULA applies. This page is a short summary of the points that matter: how the seal works, your content, Sealday Plus billing and the limits of what Sealday can promise.
Which agreement applies?
Apple's Standard Licensed Application EULA governs your use of the app. These terms add details specific to Sealday.
How the seal works and its limits
Capsules are locked with drand, a public time beacon run by independent organizations. Capsules you send cannot be opened early by anyone, including you. Capsules for yourself can be opened early in an emergency after a 24-hour wait, and are marked forever.
If the beacon network shut down, capsules you sent could not be opened, while your own capsules would still open on that iPhone with its spare key. Sealday cannot recover a capsule if the app is deleted without a backup or a vault file.
Your content
You own what you put in capsules. You are responsible for what you send to other people. Do not use Sealday to harass anyone or to send unlawful content. Recipients can delete any capsule they receive.
Sealday Plus
Plus is an auto-renewing subscription (weekly or annual, and the annual plan can include a free trial) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and you manage them in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Opening, grading, share cards, backup, export and deletion are never behind payment.
No guarantees
Sealday is provided as is. It is built to be reliable, but nobody can guarantee that every capsule will open, for example if the device, its backups or the beacon network fail. Contact: support@dziby.com.
Subscriptions and purchases
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Restore earlier purchases in the app with Restore Purchases, on any iPhone signed in with the same Apple Account.
- Use of the app is governed by the Apple Standard EULA and our Privacy Policy.
